Welcome to the official website site of KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA  TULI, one of the prestigious educational institutions of TULI , MOKOKCHUNG (NAGALAND  ). Kendriya Vidyalaya Tuli was incepted in the year 1978 and it is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) Govt. of India, New Delhi. Admissions are open to all  (subject to the fullfillment of Eligibility Criteria).

As per KVS guidelines seats are filled in category wise on a priority basis. Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, all Kendriya Vidyalayas follow a uniform syllabus. Tuli is a town in the Mokokchung district of the Nagaland state, India. It is located on the right bank of Milak river and is 80 km north of Mokokchung.      

Kendriya Vidyalaya Tuli is a ‘Miniature India’ in itself and tries to inculcate in its students feeling of Patriotism, Brotherhood and National Integration. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tuli is running currently in a temporary building. It is a civil sector school situated in TZUDIKONG (PO)  Town  in Paper Nagar  (NPPCL- Nagaland Pulp & Paper Co Ltd ).

This Vidyalaya has the strength of 178  students & 28 staff (including Teaching (22) , Non-Teaching (02) and Contractual staffs (04) ) on rolls and has all along been striving to achieve academic excellence and development in the total personally of the students.. There is single section from class I to class X and TWO  sections in class XI & XII (Science stream  and Humanities stream / Arts ).

It has moulded many Teachers, Scientists, Technocrats, Doctors, and Engineers & Administrators who occupy enviable positions in various walks of life . The quality education fully equipped with Science and Computer labs, Games and Sports and facilities of CCA.  Facilities are available for indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, and Carom etc. 

VISION & MISSION:

The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission, viz., 

 1. To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including Defence    and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education; 

2. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education; 

3. To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Concil of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc.  

4. To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children.

OBJECTIVES:

To cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education; 

To pursue excellence and set pace in the field of school education; 

 To initiate and promote experimentation and innovativeness in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education and National Council of Educational Research and Training etc. 

To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children.

SALIENT FEATURES:     

Common text-books and bilingual medium of instructions for all Kendriya Vidyalayas. 

 All Kendriya Vidyalayas affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education 

All Kendriya Vidyalayas are co-educational, composite schools. 

Sanskrit is taught from class V to IX   

 The quality of teaching is kept reasonably high by an appropriate teacher-pupil ratio. 

No tuition fee for boys upto Class VIII, girls upto Class XII and SC/ST students.
